Distributed Intelligent Patrol Inspection System for Belt Conveyor

The belt conveyor is a "blood circulation system" of industrial production, and it is also a "safety accident prone place".During transportation, if there are failures such as stalling, deviation, stacking, tearing, and fire, and other failures.The lighter consequence is to reduce the production and transportation efficiency of the belt conveyor, and the more serious consequences may even result in production stoppage, equipment damage, and malignant accidents endangering the safety of life and property.The traditional condition monitoring of belt transportation system mainly relies on the inspection of the field staff, which has high labor intensity, low efficiency, many blind areas, poor real-time performance, and many safety hazards, so it cannot guarantee the safe and efficient operation of the belt transportation system.

In view of the pain points existing in the inspection of belt conveying system, our company has focused on developing a laser scanner for belt damage detection, a temperature and velocity sensor for roller monitoring, a temperature and humidity sensor for environmental monitoring, and a position sensor for personnel positioning,   and it integrates video camera and infrared thermometer to form the integration of six online perception technologies, namely temperature, vibration, speed, image, video and position, to realize the comprehensive and rapid perception of the four elements of the safety production of the belt conveying system, "human,machine,material and environment", and uses big data, AI and other technologies to realize the real-time monitoring, multidimensional analysis and advance warning of the overall state of the belt conveying system. So as to ensure the belt conveying system efficient and safe operation.
